I honestly believe she released B&P as a way to see if maybe she could go it on her own, but soon realized that it's not going to be as simple as creating her own imprint and releasing mess. Breyon let her play around a bit but may have slapped her with a dose of reality afterward.

And to top that off B&P didn't do that well at all, she tried her best to turn it into a movement by calling on her celeb friends to drum up interest but that didn't even prove to be effective. Sometimes there's no better promotion than what a label can provide. I think she realized that as well.
