There was a comment in a Slate article review of Two Eleven I believe, that explains that. It said something to the effect of... "Her subtle manipulation of timbre and texture rewards close listening..." That PART.

Even on Lucid GOD when she sings "needed you...too" it sounds so sharp and distorted in one part

I will say that SAML is a bit too long for my taste, and wish it was sliced a bit to add more length to another song...still a good song imo.

I think what I love the most about this album is what I love about Brandy overall. I KNOW I'm gonna be dissecting and finding new stuff for YEARS. It's like deconstructing a complex math equation. It's so trippy and unorthodox. It never goes where you think it's gonna go. I LOVE that.
