So, my honest first listen thoughts:

- Top 3: Rather Be, No Tomorrow, Lucid Dreams.
- Bottom 3: Baby Mama, High Heels, Say Something.
- Saving All My Love is a slightly confusing opener.
- I love how the songs all blend into each other
- The beat and melody changes throughout are always interesting.
- Still not entirely sure why the interludes were needed.
- Mixing/mastering IS an issue.
- First half > second half.
- Borderline definitely could have been edited down a bit. Runs a little long.
- Rather Be and No Tomorrow are the remaining single options.
- Getting a lot of Dawn vibes from this overall.

Again, no final judgments til I have a few more listens. I feel pretty mixed right now. I'm just happy she's back, finally.

all this is a fucking ki

Unconditional Oceans is EASILY the best song on the album for me. So perfect.

my fav !! it made me emotional i don't know why
omgggggg  such a Sissy   :dead: :plzstop: :plzstop: i been weak listening' to it  lol maybe the joy of hearing' Queen on a nu album

Its EVERYTHING. See, Im kinda pissed that Brandy felt the need to hit up Hit Boy for some uptempo track for a 1st single mess. Cause I think this woulda been a perfect single and I could actually picture Chance as a feature on THIS song. Not that it needs a feature (dont get me wrong, its perfect), but Im jus sayin.

I can just imagine a music video for this. Geesh!!! Its one of the only songs on the album with a distinct melody and chorus.

ughhhhh that song is my CRUSH  ooommmmmgggg

"wherawi Gaaawwwin', we daaaaaaav in the ocean"   omgggggg her voice on that line just kicks the shit outta my soul  dcgfhgjlhf  :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop:

Oh, and Borderline has me conflicted.
I like the way it starts and the way it ends.
I like the chorus.
But something happens in the middle.
I start to lose interest.
I agree with the comment about editing.

All of this. Too much going on. Its almost like she had a whole lotta shit to say and she had to pack it all in tight.

Maybe this is one of the reasons why I am not appreciating the vocals on this album. I'm focusing more on trying to wrap my head around the song structures and some of the melody choices that I cant even focus on / appreciate the vocals at all. Of course she sounds amazing on every song, but I didnt get that vocal lashing I normally get when listening to a Brandy album the 1st time. I'm focused on too many other things. lol.

BranBran

Borderline is soooooo good.

She has the best voice of the industry. Period. She way elevates everything... damn gurl.

!!!
I was looking for those "moments" that every brandy album has.
there's always some standout run or adlib but so much is going on here
that it's hard to point out.

I'll sit with this more

I'm really in love with it. And how it came in after SAML was perfection. I was geeked up to that point and then Rather Be followed up and it was downhill from there  :kii:

She rly slayed that track. I wish I loved more songs like I do that one.

Yes it's too unpolished... this is why I feel like it's a compilation of some unreleased songs... and I get low budget... I love this girl and glad to always support but sis needs a label and a budget! And she should've utilized Victoria Monet more for the co-writing, they were on to something with Rather Be

B/c his statements about her mixing/mastering based on tracks we already had and the snippets leaked were accurate
