No, it was a legitimate concern/issue. Not about to fake it for anybody.

I LOVE Brandy, she's a fave...but this era just isn't what it could have been. There's an essence of greatness, but it's just not up there with her magnum opus (Afro/FM) and I blame it on production, mainly.

On a positive note, the album does sound a lot better without the interludes, Baby Mama and High Heels.

Lucid is one of her best ever.
