Well a lot of songs on 2/11 I liked immediately and don't even revisit now (except slower and Do You Know). Some things you really have to live with and others are just so straight forward they resonate a lot quicker. 

But that's not to be dismissive of the folks who don't like it, I just don't want to be swayed by people's first impressions especially considering how experimental this album apparently is.

The saddest part for me is that I'll never be able to happily sing along to this.

I honestly believe this is Brandy's first attempt at the Independent route and it's an adjustment after signing with majors and having major distribution deals, but I had so much faith in Camper. I don't believe he's necessarily the producer to give Brandy that alt R&B they so were so passionate about. But again, I've yet to hear it in its full quality.
