My worry is that in these times you have to grab people immediately. You can't really afford to let people get used to an album because music moves so quickly. Before streaming and you paid for an album you tried to get your money's worth. Now if I'm paying 10.00 a month for unlimited music and album has to grab me right away or I'm moving on. I have too much access to music to devote too much time to something I'm not really enjoying. For Brandy I'll give it more effort but other listeners won't be as patient.

Well a lot of songs on 2/11 I liked immediately and don't even revisit now (except slower and Do You Know). Some things you really have to live with and others are just so straight forward they resonate a lot quicker. 

But that's not to be dismissive of the folks who don't like it, I just don't want to be swayed by people's first impressions especially considering how experimental this album apparently is.

I went up for Two Eleven initially but I may only pull out 3 songs from the album nowadays. It is very stuck in 2012 IMO. I've only heard snippets but B7 DOES sound like something I would come back to.

"Rather Be" is so timeless. She should've did more songs with Victoria. Bran's songwriting is...out there. This was a big change for her though so I admire that.

Amy's albums are two of my faves are all time but I have to be in a mood to listen to it and that only happens every once in a while. I hope that's what B7 gives me.

But those are just really GOOD songs. There's no emotional connection with this album

and it's even less cohesive than 2-11. Which for Brandy is terrible
