and the problem is not the mix sounding good on decent headphones because that will not be everyones listening experience

one small gripe i have is that borderline is hard to follow a bit lyricly
to many added layers to lead vocals
not enough enunciating
it all kinda blends into each other
the lyrics totally left off the im sorry im sorry part
the song is more of a vibe than like a song meant to take everything in but still

I agree.  I know this is why some people I have in mind won't like it.  Like, this is why monika isn't crazy about any songs imo. She wants that standard "Brandy sound" that's not how musicians should be.  Go listen to Monica or Chris Brown if u don't want musically growth.  I really like the album

It gets better with each listen. I still think it could be better with some progression in the production. Like when that lil knock came in at 'I'm so dangerous, baby', a lil more knock, or beat switch woulda been nice.
