ACK! My fav part and them Michael Jackson's Hees!

This song is fighting for dear life to be my fav... the way this shit been LASHING me!!! Especially b/c it's so abstract that you have to listen over and over again to find something new and to get it!
:gorlonfire:
That line punches me in my gut for some reason.

Lyrically this is her best album. The way she paints these realities
:stressed:

It's definitely my fave on the album right now.

I didn't think I really liked this one but the melody has been stuck in my head the past couple of days and I keep waking up singing it. That "oh my looooord" part  :plzstop:

Let it use you

I loooooove the way she sings "oh my lord"

It's crazy how a song will hit you in a specific moment and change the way you feel about it. It's like hitting a switch.

I did not care for lucid dreams when I first heard the album but I slowly started to like it. Yesterday I picked up on the car fog lyric when I was listening to it in the car and I felt it on a different level. Been my favorite song ever since.

I'm trying! I listened to it again today but then I got to the "wahhaahhhhaahhuuhhuuuuhhuuuuaahhhh" part that's all deep and slurry right before the chorus and it pissed me off  :dead:

Classics can have a 20% skip ratio as long as the songs aren't awful, awful

yesssss! I love the lyrics, and the way she sings many of the verses. It's like she's voice acting. You remember that part on "Lulluby" where she goes, "No! Don't take my priiiiide and jooooooy"? It was sooooooo fitting for that part!

The way she sings the first verse of "No Tomorrow"!  :stressed:

The "Used to write our names in car fog" always makes me think of the "Bad Girls" video by M.I.A. ... I would live for a video for Lucid Dreams that actually features some stunt driving! Brandy has always had incredible vehicles in her videos.. stunt driving and writing her name in car fog for real would be the dopest shit ever! And true evolution for her videography too

That line gets me too, and the "abusing Ambien" part.

She emotes downe and the lyrics are so relatable. I also think they hit a bit harder because we kinda know when she was going through this period.
