I havent actually listened in full so I can't review it, and the way I feel isn't negative or anything, simply put she's just not for me. I don't know who she is and her songs feel like lyrics, not feelings.

I really do believe so. Ren was HUGE but still felt somewhat underground until the tour really. Everyone is talking about CC and there's so much curiosity surrounding the sound.

So I've listened a few times and I'll say that I liked Cowboy Carter more at first listen than I did Renaissance. Ren didn't immediately snatch me because it went over my head and I didn't know which songs were which but there were still quite a few moments/songs that put me in an immediate chokehold at first listen. CC is a good album and very well put-together but it doesn't make me wanna keep going back to listen like Ren did and still does.
