Yeah I can't really connect to the lyrics tbh..maybe because I normally don't connect the word baby mama to the 'independent women' concept.

And the timing is weird, maybe something in the production. Sounds rushed or staccato, maybe I need to give it more spins. I like the horns but the beat and everything feels empty somehow. Brandy's vocals are the real instrument. But I already expected this since a lot of people she works with make these computer beats, not like a Kanye or Timbaland with some real bass/beats/ rich samples.

I'm interested in the video, hopefully it will give the song a bit more of a backstory or mood.
