According to Carlos, Drew was originally supposed to be on a cast with the younger girls (Eva, Latoya, Porsha, etc.). This goes back to the older rumor that the show was supposed to be revamped and centered around Kandi & Porsha.

But his takeaways were:

The cast sucks because Kenya has nothing to work with. Sanya, Drew, Marlo and Courtney are not leads.
Kenya is bored with the cast and that's why she's checked out.

He thinks the show could benefit from a reboot with millenials.

He doesn't feel like bringing back Porsha, NeNe or Phaedra would work because the relationship dynamics are not
what they were 10 years ago.

The fans don't know if they want ghetto or classy entertainment.
