they expected bigger numbers and the movie itself was kinda panned by critics

The film grossed over 700 million. I hope they wasn't expecting a billion mess out because  

If anything they need to work on continuing storyline because they call them "sequels" but the story be so damn further than the last film.

They spent like 300 million on the movie

That's terrible

And if it weren't we'd be seeing the amazing Spider-Man 3 cause you know $$ is all that matters

That's why we're getting ANOTHER reboot
