Ugh sometimes it annoys me when some wypipo aren't satisfied with my answer that I'm German.
"Yea, umm.. *looksatmyface* ..but is there something else?"
"But are your parents German?"
"You don't look German at all"
The faux interest in my heritage.
Then I say that I'm half Filipino and they go "Aaaahhhh, that's why".
It's like I have to reveal personal stuff about my parents and where they were born right at the beginning of a conversation. It's nosy as hell.
However, non whites asking me these questions doesn't bother me as much.
