Prob not but hopefully she realizes during the strike that she really needs a new one. Crucial for box office & award season campaigning. Need someone that knows what to do for both especially how to work the international audience.
The excitement from multiple demographics on social media to her going back to movies last year shows she appeals to a broad audience. Just needs a dope communications team to do target marketing. She's ab to hit career highs so everything should be perfect.

Painkiller is really good. Maybe post-Queens her agent has figured out the right pathway for Brandy in terms of what to pitch her for. She's been with CAA for a while, but maybe it has clicked within the last year. I've always felt drama was a her strong suit. Niecy Nash did a nice pivot over the years of building up her resume & establishing herself with her drama roles.
A communications team that will build her presence in foreign markets to offset the racism & colorism that Asian countries are on when it comes to lead dark brown black actresses would be amazing. A presence build up of her in Brazil & other South American countries.
When A24 announced the front room the amount of men & women, diff ethnicities, nationalities & ages excited was telling. It's a gold mine for an older Black actress to appeal to a wide demographic & she has always needed to expand her audience.
I hope for Bran to accomplish her dreams especially before all the changes studios are trying to make permanent in hollywood. Ray J said they were in acting classes when they were kids so Bran so this is what she loves.
You're so right. Her team seems to be putting in the work, and I have a lot of faith in them to do wonders for Brandy's career. Agreed, drama is her strong suit.
Niecy Nash is definitely someone she should be learning from. I was never a big fan of hers but after the 1-2-3 punch of Getting On/ Scream Queens/ Claws I realized how slept on she was. Dope actress. Happy she's having her moment!
I'm with you on Brandy hiring a heavy-hitter communications team, she needs it. There should be a strong focus on targeting foreign countries like you said. That's how you become a true household name. I pray she takes a cue from Viola, she had a nice rollout for "The Woman King" and even visited some of those countries, it truly matters!

Bran has always been an underdog so to see her being able to still go after her dreams with high end productions is beautiful.
Very curious to see what will be announced post-strike regarding what she signed on for before it & after negotiations for deals can resume.
Brazil in particular loves Black American actors.
Tichina Arnold said that Black American centered programs are syndicated & very popular in Brazil.
Bran would do very well just like Viola did in Brazil.
When she promoted the woman king there & other countries the ppl especially black brazilians & other brazilians came through for her bc the movie got its largest foreign box office #s in brazil.
Also, I believe it did really well with on demand #s in the countries Viola visited.
