I think it's best to look at it as Brandy called it a "variety" album. She isn't gassing it up saying it's her best work or her favorite etc. She said it is simply her contribution to Christmas . I think if you look at it from that lense you can really appreciate it.


I think if we look at it like something anybody can pick up and enjoy without being a Brandy stan then I think it makes sense . She put her spin on the classics and gave us some originals . For what it is it's a great album! Xmas albums are usually played like 2 months out of the year so it's very niche . & she did this album in 4 months . Thats unheard of for Brandy!!

I agree and y'all act like she can't make another Christmas album that is more gospel influenced and stripped down....there are so many more Christmas songs for her to cover and the rest of her originals. This album did not call for all of that hollering and if you really get into the vocal and train your Brandy ear, this bitch is singing dowwwnnnn....its the little things with Brandy that make me appreciate her the most.

This album is like a modern r&b Christmas record and it centers on her warm, laid-back and smoky tone...its the most similar to her NSN vocal and approach which I think she wanted to accomplish for this record. Whenever Brandy does yell, y'all criticize that so let her stay in this pocket for a bit.

Watch Kasshh reaction and I think you can appreciate the album much more

Let's hope after Macy's Thanksgiving parade Brandy start so heavy promo for this album. When was the last time she had an album and movie out at the same time? It's been decades.

@Vonc2002 I'm glad your enjoying it for it is. But the great thing about Christmas albums artists love to release them (Deluxe/special edition) and add more songs. Let's keep streaming so Brandy is encouraged to wanna add more records.
