This. Like with Sia, X-Tina may have technically worked with her first, but she didn't actually influence any of the other gorls to work with her like many of her fans claim.
None of X-Tina's more relevant peers ran out and immediately scooped up Sia to write songs for them all because of her "amazing, chart topping" work on Bionic. In reality Sia herself decided to become a full time pop songwriter like 2 or 3 years later. She then began to actively persue and shop her material around to various major artists and was eventually able to get work foot in the door with the real pop heavyweights. If anything Rihanna's influence with Diamonds and its global success made Sia "trendy" as a songwriter.
