Y'all can kinda STAY mad at the Queen. But she's going to keep doing her. Minding her business and y'all should do the same. It's a pandemic in case y'all forgot.

I heard the Friday before Mother's Day.   But I did confirm it was coming May 1.  Im like 90% sure that's the day but too b honest things with her never seem to go as planned.  Baby mama was supposed to be out in November.

Again I think May 1 is the launch.

Just quick question for y'all cause y'all got y'all ears to the proverbial internet streets.

Who else has a May 1 release date?

According to Buddha, May 1st is the date. These lunatics just got excited and ASSUMED yet again that the single wasn't releasing on the 1st because the Ro James record is allegedly releasing that day as well. One can only be hopeful, but again, I'm not attached until "Baby Mama" is available on all streaming platforms and that video is released.

Again she been working this week in preparation  so I'm pretty sure the May 1 date is sticking.

I really wish she coulda pushed the single artwork change up .  But again the work behind that was already done and it woulda costs more coin and caused another push back to get all that changed

Kipp, does Brandy HAS to have a creative say in her process, so my question is what made her think it was okay to greenlight that single artwork?  :uhh:

Were there other voices involved that wanted to go in that direction? She's such a beautiful girl and a simple image of her would have been so effective.
she has PROFESSIONALS on her team I would think they would
Know better than me lol.
Unfortunately that isnt the case lol. If these same PROFESSIONALS are in control of her career this era, I'm concerned. But I just need for her to drop an album release date and it better not be later than July.

If you want to PLEASE your fans...
Especially knowing that you do not post often on IG... And when you post, it's always some artistic blurry mess that nobody is really interested in...

What does it take to post 2 or 3 covers of your upcoming single on IG and create a poll asking your fans which one do they like best?!

Or EVEN create a lil contest like Janet did in 2006 for the 20 Y.O album cover asking the fans to create the cover of your upcoming single?

PEOPLE ARE HOME!

There are so many ways to keep in touch with your fanbase without spending ton of money. When I compare it to my job (different field but marketing is the same in every field), these marketing teams for these musicians ain't doing shit with IG. Radio and all of that is great. But there is so much noise to make on IG and Twitter.

That SUIMR challenge was launched but that marketing team ain't feeding it so it died.

STAY visible damnit.

Man I just keep hope alive with Maverick,  I see what they do with artists like Doja,  everything  about her marketing is precise and well thought out and connected to her image.

That's what comforts me lol

I think it's a matter of what Brandy wants to give up control over. She's clearly not a visual person, so she has no business running her own social media. She needs to just get a burner account for her family and friends, and leave the professional SM accounts to a professional. That's the replacement for websites now and her mess is late tbh.

Pandemic!

Even if there was no pandemic it would be some shit. It's not stopping other folks from dropping new music. We've stuck by this woman through every thing, going above and beyond to support her, her ment stage, her mess with Breyon, etc. we've defended her tooth and nail. I'm frustrated.

!!!

It's been almost a full month with no word about the single but hey hey she put her kids song out she prlly think that's holding us over knowing bran  :dead:

REALucid

This is such a weird thread  :dead:

I rather have the song with her and that Angel dude though. I wonder what he's waiting for

I'm waiting too... but what I don't get is in 2020, you can't just disappear and reappear like Casper The Ghost (hi NeNe!) and think it's cute.

Brandy barely uses IG and it's like her account is not a professional tool.

🤦🏾‍♂️

ffff Just the fact that this one single was supposed to be released November and we're about to enter May is irritating af. But hey I guess some fans are okay with that. So we have no right to be frustrated

Management companies can only do so much and no more. The money Maverick will invest in Doja aint gonna be the same they invest in Brandy. Mgmt companies also dont do everything. Artists gotta make shit pop on their own with the HELP of a management company. Doja didnt rely on Maverick to do everything for her I'm sure. I just have to assume that Brandy is just not a creative thinker like that.

Bran has never left the 90s. Sometimes it works, but most times it doesn't.

Last time someone asked him about it, he said he's waiting on Brandy. So we'll prob get that in 2021.

Is Baby Mama even coming out may 1st?  Its sad we still gotta play this guessing game with Brandy. She definitely could had did promo throughout April. Do live interviews, do IG live or something! The sitting up in my room challenge is a good idea but she not even really participating in that lol. Smh. I don't care anymore

Brandy never had to hustle. The record label made her a star.

She doesn't think. If I was her, I'd get a similar outfit and recreate the whole shit in my room and really get the challenge poppin. Maybe do a few Moesha journal entries leading up to the single release announcement, drop a little video teaser or behind the scenes footage. Build up some anticipation. Where are the creative minds at? I mean, if she's hiring a team to do it, where they at? I guess they're busy making a Smurfs inspired album cover.

Man this is so true. Granted, she worked hard to reach the status she did. But this grassroots stuff, as far as promoting her own brand, is foreign to her.
