I love Mariah but Minnie Riperton definitely got her with the whistle note. She hit notes Mariah has never hit.

Mariah had the overall better voice. Minnie's lower register is basically non-existent tbh

I mean, what are the requirements for this list tho. A lot of these singers can't hold a candle to some of the GOAT's like Aretha, Chaka, etc.

Her technique was unmatched.
