i wouldnt be surprised if azealia, or someone like her, actually knows a lot about country music

she simply spoke on elements of country that make country music what it is.

is it nonsensical to do that when it's clear that fas is already conforming, or is clearly trying to conform to what is expected? from the overall sound to the attire.

it's all giving what i would expect from a gorl tryna give a "yeehaw!" tea tbh. but it seems azealia actually has more insight and knowledge in the genre.

azealia is saying, i see what ur tryna do but its at 7 instead of 10.

that whole "white acceptance" angle is ridiculous considering all the above.

that guy is just showing how little he knows about the genre. like most black people...we dont know much about that space.

Azealia is a 30 yr old rapper from Harlem trying to tell a 43 yr old singer from Houston Tx how to do a genre she grew up hearing all her life and has already dabbled in

azealia is a rapper that actually dabs in genres outside of hip hop

and comes off as VERY eclectic .

and not fake  , play play eclectic. REALLY eclectic.

which is why i say i would not be surprised if she actually knew a lot about country. or many other genres tbh.

stop describing her like she's a Remy Ma. sdsddssdsdsd

and we've all heard country growing up . if u had a tv or radio

but last time i checked fas's idols were michael and tina .

there's a difference between just hearing songs on the radio and the music being part of the culture of where you live. It's like trying to tell a person from Detroit about Motown or telling a person from New Orleans about Jazz.
Texas is a big red state full of ppl playing banjos, riding horses, waving flags and singing country music
It's very unlikely that country music had no impact on Bey just based on that alone

shes from texas so "yeehaw!" makes sense.

i agree and said that pages ago in here.

we could argue all day about how truly influenced she is by it though. only she knows that, as there's not a shit ton of evidence to prove it.

at her core, fas seems like a ratchet hip-hop gorl to me. which is kinda why i luv tolerate her.

and i dont give a fuck if dolly parton breastfed her in her infancy. give me fucking knock

im NOT fucking happy with this shit.

I can get with just saying "I dont like the song"
But this girl trying to be the authority on this just sounds dumb.
Yes Bey at the core will always be R&B/Hip Hop but that doesn't mean she doesn't also love country music, genuinely and really want to make authentic music.
She just needs to say she doesn't like it and go.

I keep forgetting that sis received a college scholarship just for Yodeling alone.

it def feels very authentic with K Michelle

even in her R&B songs, you can hear the country "twang" to her voice.

Fuck this ho.

and K Michelle said she's going to support Bey. while we're trying to use her to tear down Bey she's building her up

Sounds very inauthentic to me but I guess we're all entitled to our own opinion.
