A show this big? This great and Iconic?

This was like the show to WATCH back in the day; and it REALLY helped the Urban community.

I really think BET needs some revamping.

Usher's numbers are truly a testimony that R&B in particular is in a state of emergency. These artists have little to no support or outlet!

Maybe they can even bring it back....

They need a show as interactive and as 106 use to be

Maybe they can incorporate the Social Media; Snap, Instagram etc

I feel so bad for our artists and I hope something drastic happens and changes before folks like Ghan come back

And mtv has a show that just started similar to this. The countdown portion is obsolete but performances, interviews, etc

i think it would be cool if you could catch it live on fb or online if youre not by a TV

like dual stream kinda mess

then have a popular account and following like the shade room where interview segments, photos and videos are posted for people to follow and get news on.

The reality is, there is no audience for a TV music-related show.
People would more watch a "show" on instagram before they watch it on TV.

I watch the Breakfast club like it's a legit TV show.


Something like that, but focused on MUSIC would SLAY.
They could highlight up-and-coming artist and veterans alike.
It could be cute.

They could have performances be like shows.
Where the public could purchase tickets for the live taping.
Small and intimate.
And then have an Q&A after.
A "behind the song", "behind the album" mess.
And def cater to the R&B artists as much as they can.
It's needed.

I've been hoping for something like this!

Where they play new music videos, play 1 or 2 throwbacks of the day.

And make it somehow where people can connect with social media,
like "TWEET US WHICH VIDEO YOU WANNA SEE!" or "send us a Snap!"... it could SMASH.

people like to see themselves on TV/getting noticed by mass audience.

it could be live, or prerecorded.
but MTV and BET DO need to bring music videos back to television.
it's long overdue and it's not helping artists music sales like you said.
