Like, I've been feeling this way for a while. I side-eye Facebook every time they try to get "involved".

The #BlackLivesMatter movement had been a huge deal over the past year, but they have remained silent.
The minute gay marriage was passed they jumped on the bandwagon. Now they're on this Paris mess.

there is a strong groupthink when it comes to what people choose to pay attention to but I don't think we should totally turn a blind eye to something or avoid showing sympathy to innocent lives lost to prove a point.

some of the "woke" gorls on facebook just like to be a contrarian.

I agree. At the end of the day life was still lost. WHich is why I originally was going to keep my thoughts to myself...even though I kinda cringed going through my timeline...... :udontlookok:
