Rodney definitely did his thing but what other producer just "got" her and you want them to work again.
Mine definitely have to be Chris hands down. Not sure how he did it but his production on Slower and Put it Down was it.
Timbaland
Warryn Campbell
Chris didn't produce slower. Switch did (Diplos partner) and Sevyn wrote most of it and demo'd it
But ummm...

Lol what was I thinking. Well Chris song writing definitely matched well. Im sure he picked the producers or it was a team effect. All I know is both of those tracks are awesome.

I could imagine Tim making an entire album with GHan
Rodney.. eh not so much. Would love to hear it though
It will always be rodney for me.

You know what...I'll throw Kanye in there too.
I love all the work he did with Bran, including Bring Me Down

Shouldn't have been a single, but it's a great song.
And Where U Wanna Be has always been one of my favs from Afro.
Timbaland & Rodney Jerkins.

Nobody gets her like Rodney LMFAO
I appreciate the Mike City mentions. Full Moon is my favorite song. He gets her voice in such a way, that shows her voice is otherworldly, and it shows in his production. Did he also do "Throw It All Away"?? I wanna say "Deepest Thoughts" too...and..."Open"?
Outside of Rodney and personally, I don't think he did a great job with Full Moon. It's a good album but it sound like one big ass song. Hell he gave all his hits away to other artist anyways. The Boy is Mine was a success because Dallas reworked it. Other than that, the nigger didn't give Brandy no mega hit. Fuck him. He know he coulda gave Brandy He Ain't Man Enough or Say My Name. Fat faggot.
Sean Garret got it right tbh ,,, Rodney cool but he doesn't know how to put together a solid body of work. Brandy need could writers and not to over do the vocal production and not to be in creative control ...TC also does a great Job with brandy
Producers:
Timbaland
Rodney
Writers:
James Fauntleroy
Candice Nelson
Yeah umm I've never been a "Rodney and brandy" gorl
I forgot about Mike City. Of course Full Moon, but his other work with her...he definitely GETS Brandy.

Literally out of it. Sean Garrett over Rodney.. Sean over Mike City?? Really??
Its the opposite. Its about which producer/writer BRANDY GETS. She has made magic with producer/writers she has only worked with once.

Timbo pulled somethin more raw and hard hittin' outta Ghan
!!!!!
Yes! That's the word I was looking for, he def brought something raw, real and different outta her... it's like he brought her emotions out and put her out of space at the same time... their music together was kinda theatrical...

The music she did with Rodney was very well put together and amazing....
but that mess she did with Timbo was just the tea. Had a dark edge to it that I fucking loved.
Focus, Should I Go, I Tried..... bitch
Yes!!! These songs alone captures the essence described above>>>>>>
And then you throw in songs like Nodding Off, Sirens, Finally it's like WTF!!!
One of my favorite from Afro is Like It was yesterday. Mike City really works the best with her without allowing all the unnecessary backgrounds. Just get to her Brandy sing.

Whew two of my favorite songs of all TIME.
Yeah, Tim knew what he was doing. That bridge on I Tried
:gorlonfire:
Organized Noize did great too
Timbaland, Kandice Nelson, Walter Millsapp, Kenisha... man that was another dimension. Warryn and his wife's INCREDIBLE work with Who I Am, to be able to write years of Brandy's life in one song so succinctly. Such a mellow hard hitting intro to the album. Just beautiful. Bran was in such a safe happy space until Kanye/Kyambo n dem turned up and ruined it.

smddmsds
Focus is so damn sexy.
It's like if any Brandy song that deserved a visual was Focus!!! Everything about that song should be expressed visually, the beat, the vocals, backgrounds, mood... like I still think it would've slayed and pushed the envelope forward in 2004 along with I Tried and Should I Go
