Infidelity aside, she was right about the pay gap and hollywood
I learned that a producer of her stature would make 40k-100k per episode
So w/ her making 40k she's clearly being lowballed
And in addition to that, like Diamond said, imagine how little the gorls (actors/actresses) are being paid. That seems to be uplifted by the fact that the gorls supported her speech + Angelica/Indya showed solidarity on social media.
Outside of Indya, in addition to that the gorls don't seem to be getting too many big campaigns outside the show.
Like she said, people are all 'black trans lives matter, support the gorls!' until its time to do the work aka PAY the gorls. And I can see why workers are more salty since we're in a pandemic, ppl can't work, AND finances are tight.
Now I can see why this is the final season cause this is a mess
All in all this whole mess kinda makes me sad. I know its Hollywood but with the importance of the show + how close the cast seemed makes this really somber. From the outside looking in the cast was like a family but chile....
What a very bittersweet ending to an important series. I hope they sort this out behind the scenes....
And I lowkey want that footage of this speech to leak too. Can you imagine the REACTIONS. One of the zorls better contact TMZ a bit
