I think her label is really the issue. We've seen that happening to several other singers signed to major labels. JoJo, Sky Ferreira, Raye. Nicole Scherzinger back in 2007.
Those label execs are so paranoid about the first week sales.

that's why you shouldn't sign the first contract they put under your nose, and these terms and stipulations have to be well-defined during negotiations (creative control, etc) basically this is like a basketball team. It's somebody's job on the team (at the label) to decide her direction or single, etc...her job is not to worry about that lol. She has to record, create, perform, travel, etc. If she wants to do everything, go be independent
