I think one of the biggest things I am learning through this process is being very decisive.

Like, just MAKE a decision quickly when you have to.

So many instances where there's not much time to really SIT on shit and ponder, and list pros and cons.

Pick a tea and stand in it. If it does work, fabulous! If it doesn't , learn from it and keep fucking moving.

Last night, a young gay Black guy shared his story..

He really made some stuff that I thought I was past and totally over resurface. I guess that's what people call "triggering" now? asdda I was definitely triggered.

I was so touched by his story because although I couldn't relate to every detail 100%, his story definitely brought me back to how difficult it can be being gay and learning about yourself in a Black urban setting. The hood. lol Those battles he has with just wanting to fit in with his hetero Black male coworkers, and laughing off their insensitive jokes about certain things when it really hurts him...

He admitted that he now turns to alcohol and drugs just to cope. Thankfully I never got to that point but that's definitely very real within the Black gay community.

Usually, I allow the users to just help one another but I was compelled to personally respond to his story and give him some encouragement and love. He said he was really touched by my words and it meant a lot to me that I could be there for him. Some of the users also gave him a e-hug as well.

I could tell he felt very safe and loved last night.

And 5.3K now. 6K we coming for dat ass

You are everything and I can even relate to that story

I'm so happy that you've created a platform that exudes everything you're about--forward thinking and positivity

Love you I just know this is only the beginning of a fabulous journey you're on
