They dont want to overshadow the aladin mess. After it does its mess next week they will move into full TS4 and TLK promo.

The stars (mostly bey I'm sure) have a tight schedule and they probably had to choose between delaying the movie or not filming it at all until some years later

Disney has a budget outta this world so I thought we'd see lion King mess last year

But I expect HEAVY promo towards the release. They'll probably have shows and shit at Disney world

Its already started. Disneyland Paris is bringing the whole lion theme mess back this summer with special viewing parties

N Disney has officially put in a stop to the overseas lion king musicals to focus fully on the movie. Disney is coming for blood at the global  box office.
