I see it like this...celebrities are entertainers by profession. When it comes to social/political/systemic issues, they don't have to necessarily do or say anything. Actually, it would probably be better in some regards if they never did. On the other hand, if your wealth is primarily built off of entertainment and people buying your product, getting involved may help. Can't maximize your profits when your base is being killed with impunity in the streets by law enforcement. I can only imagine what I'd do if I were a celebrity in times like these. I think the main takeaway is that the solutions shouldn't be so polarizing, imo.
