Brandy is allowed to perform new songs live right? I liked that idea.
I think that's what she should do going forward if she can't release albums.

This is what I've been trying to figure out. She could do a damn live LIVE album with new/unreleased tracks.

The most annoying thing about this situation is, a contract is a contract...
And Brandy signed it.

It'd be a shame, if this situation allows a major gap in her release of music.
Especially at her relatively young age.
You may have to just make the contract work in your favor.
Honor it. And then move on.

Don't worry about sales, etc.
Like, at this point, no one is selling.
Who cares.

I hope the opposite is the case. I wonder if this situation will get her to do back-to-back releases.

Brandy's record label just clapped back, saying the singer has no business comparing her contract to slavery ... since it's been more than a decade since she dropped a hit.
A rep for Chameleon Entertainment CEO Breyon Prescott tells TMZ ... Brandy's allegations are a desperate ploy to drum up publicity instead of facing facts -- her best days are behind her. The rep says Breyon took a risk "signing an artist that hasn't had a chart single success since the early 2000's."
We broke the story ... Brandy sued Chameleon, saying it jeopardized her career when it tried to prevent her from recording and releasing new music, among other things.
Chameleon's rep also believes Brandy made a bonehead PR move by making the slavery comparison due to racial tensions across the country right now.
We're told Brandy and her lawyer reviewed the contract before signing, so Chameleon finds it odd she's now crying foul.

No shade, but if Breyon feels Brandy is such a "has-been", why he is still holding on to her?
Doesn't make sense.
You want to act like she isn't legend?
Then let her go.

I would hope so.
But she'd have to kind of let this fight go and get to work.

fff she's going to go OFF on her next project  :plzstop: The vocal that's about to pour out of this woman after this foolery  :loose2when:

Rxxf

She could make the 5-to-5 creative.
Just focus on the core fans.
Don't worry about the typical album rollout.

Did Jrob delete his instagram?

Also they talked about this on TMZ live today.

Sounds like the troubles started with her push for a 3rd single, specifically DYK, and when she started working on the follow-up album (we know she was in the studio constantly) they refused to pay for it. My guess is they wouldn't pay for it unless she signed the 360 deal with Epic which she refuses so now they owe her money. Her contract with them promised the funding for her projects.

T4P. I missed the episode. ANd I think JRob either deleted it or changed his handle. Can't find him anywhere
I can't get on his page anymore. I guess he knew we were comin'! :plzstop:
