  this was her most gorgeous staging. i haven't watched in 2 years almost. Lemme settle in for a bit.

I guess "light" may be a stretch but her voice sounds way heavier now to me. That comes with age, giving birth etc. We all know this.


Actually u know what..I'm sticking with it. Her was was lighter.

Her voice was definitely a lot lighter back in the day. I think some people definetly exaggerated how light and girly her tone was. I remember the X-Tina fans used to reeeeally try to make the "thin girly voice" thing happen with Bee. Which is funny cause I happened upon these two performances back to back a few weeks ago, and imo Beyonce arguably has the fuller more mature sounding tone now. (probably cause X'Tina's voice has been just collecting cobwebs since 2007, and Bee has constantly toured).
