its likely that she kept on makeup from something else they were doing, which is still a mistake, but you have to remember that some makeup translates better to magazines, photoshoots ...etc. while other types of makeup are best used for when you're in motion.

making blacks look lighter is a marketing gimmick. It's been used for decades

and what better time to use it. make up targeting black consumers, who are obsessed with the color of their skin

Yeah Bran is a lightskinned girl  if you look back at her teenage years she looked REALLY light. So I don't know why she wants to use darker makeup but she is still gorgeous either way!
