Title: Book about Aaliyah’s fatal plane crash
Post by: Annie on August 02, 2021, 12:28:35 PM
Aaliyah reportedly 'drugged' and carried onto flight before fatal plane crash
2nd August 2021

Aaliyah was reluctant to board the flight that ultimately cost the singer's life and had taken a sleeping pill just hours earlier, according to new claims.

Kingsley Russell, whose family ran a taxi firm in the Bahamas, was with the star when his stepmother drove her team to the airport as she prepared to return to the US in August 2001.

Russell was just 13-years-old and worked as a baggage carrier as the singer prepared to return home.

However, he now claims that the singer refused to board the plane when she first saw it and went back to sleep in the car driven by his stepmother, telling her team she had a headache.

Aaliyah, who is said to have passed out in the back of the cab, was allegedly carried onto the plane while sleeping, despite her past reservations.

The flight claimed her life just hours later, with the singer and the eight members of her entourage killed when the plane crashed shortly after take-off about 200 feet from the end of the runway.

I do remember Dame said she didn't like planes at all..I think she called him on her way to the Bahamas to tell she had anxiety and didn't want to go on a plane. They must have had the same 'problem' on the way back. It's sad because I believe her instinct said to not go on the plane, but they forced her to go.

" It came from a man in the Abaco Islands named Kingsley Russell, whose family ran a taxi and hospitality business in the area. Shortly after the death of Kobe Bryant (https://www.thedailybeast.com/kobe-bryants-disturbing-rape-case-the-dna-evidence-the-accusers-story-and-the-half-confession) in February 2020, Russell made a since-deleted YouTube video describing how the helicopter crash was triggering because it reminded him of the day he watched Aaliyah being taken onboard the fatal flight while she was asleep, knocked out by a pill that a member of her team had given her."

" Already experiencing a two-hour delay due to the plane's late arrival, Russell claimed that Aaliyah grew even more flustered when she finally saw the small plane and refused to board it. At the same time, the pilot was insisting that the plane would be too heavy with eight passengers, including Aaliyah's 300-pound bodyguard (https://edition.cnn.com/2001/WORLD/americas/08/30/aaliyah.crash/), and all of their luggage and video equipment.

"[The airport staff] and Aaliyah had the common sense that the plane was overweight," Russell is quoted in the book.Pushing back against her team, Aaliyah climbed into the taxi van, complaining of a headache, and said she was going to take a quick nap. Meanwhile, her camp continued to try and convince the pilot to fly them with all their luggage, according to Russell. Eventually, Russell said a member of Aaliyah's team came to check on her, and the singer reiterated that she did not want to get on the tiny plane and that she had a headache.

It was then, Russell claimed, that the team member produced a pill, which Aaliyah took and fell into a deep sleep, which she remained in when the pilot finally agreed to fly the group back to Florida."They took her out of the van; she didn't even know she was getting boarded on a plane," Russell said in Baby Girl. "She went on the airplane asleep."

I still remember that John Edwards psychic reading with Diane Haughton:
" John: and she's making me feel like she doesn't want to tell me. She doesn't want to tell me how she passed. She's making me feel like you understand what I'm saying and I don't have to describe to you exactly what happened, although I'd rather hear it from her. But she's saying she won't, she's not going to go there. She's making me feel like.... she's in the backseat, and I feel like she could have been taking a nap, she could have had her headphones on, she could have been reading a book, whatever. There's all this hustle and bustle happening. She's getting whooshed off, like I feel like i'm being whooshed, like I have to go to me next place."

I really don't think their camp had bad intentions. It was just a mistake to get on the plane..of course she should have been protected better. Listen to you intuition instead of rushing to get to the next event. Spend more money on your artists.

I already know there are going to be people starting this big conspiracy thing all over again. It just won't stop. There's nothing we can do to turn back time.

I dunno .

If she was pressed for time and just needed to get things moving .. it's possible

It's kinda like when there's a storm that grounds a plane from takeoff for hours .. you'll always have a few passengers who are like omg can we just get this shit moving the storm ain't even that bad 🙄🙄

Plus GODliyah was very young. Just barely coming out of her teens . Sometimes being that young can trick you into a sense of immortality .. as if the most horrible case scenario in a situation will somehow bypass you.

" An autopsy performed on Luis Morales, the pilot of the plane thatcrashed last August in the Bahamas killing R&B star Aaliyah,
revealed that he had cocaine and alcohol in his system at the time
of the accident. The autopsy results were part of the crash
investigation report filed by the Bahamas Department of Civil

Which is exactly what I said babe. Are you ok?

Not sure what to believe, all I know is that all this time I never thought Aaliyah would get on a plane that she was told was overweight.
!!!
If someone's telling the plan is overweight you ain't getting ON it k

She complained to both Dame and Rashad about the size of the planes. Though what u said makes sense, I don't think that was the case

The circumstances around her death are weird. Apparently record label reps tried to convince the flight handlers to NOT weigh the cargo planes that were headed to the Bahamas and gave an extreme underestimation of how much the cargo weighed. The flight handlers had to fight back and COMMAND to weigh the cargo for safety reasons and found out that it weighed way more than than what reps said. Apparently it was Luis Morales FIRST day on the job. A higher rank employee of Blackhawk committed suicide in September. People commit suicide for multiple reasons but that timing seems extremely coincidental. Maybe it was guilt from the tragedy.

She told at least Dame, Rashad, and Derek that she wasn't comfortable with the 15 seat plane going to the Bahamas. She probably told some of the other victims too who aren't here to tell it. What's factual is that they were in a rush. They brought the luggage TO the set that morning. You can see in her final pictures that she's still in her video outfit on the boat on the way to the airport. They pre-planned to not go back to the resort to collect their stuff. They just wanted to go the airport after shooting. They were ready to go. Then the plane was 2 hours late. It was scheduled for 4 and didn't come to 6. That delay and annoyance could've amplified the rush even more.

It's possible that they were warned about too much luggage but didn't think it could be deadly. Maybe Morales caved because this was a celebrity. It was going to be such a short 30 min flight that they all thought they could just get it over with. It's possible that Aaliyah didn't say shit at all. Maybe it was Gina and Doug the record label reps that demanded they had to go. Maybe the other pilot who overheard the arguing is lying through his teeth or is telling the God honest truth. In my opinion I don't know what he would get out of lying. It was Morales first day so he likely didn't even know him and have reason to defend him. He probably felt bad for all involved but just spoke what he saw: an argument. And common sense is that rushing often coincides with bending rules. It's a sad mystery that should've never happened.

This is kind of eerie, if true...

Aaliyah said she had a recurring dream of her sleeping and then drifting into the sky/flying away.
It sounds like she was asleep during the crash?

When I think about it... Aaliyah's name is never mentioned.
It always came off like her CREW wanted to get on the plane.

And there's something that her stylist said - the one who didn't get on the plane. He said he wanted to stay behind in the Bahamas... and plus, he wanted to take ALL his luggage with him. As in - it seemed that the amount of luggage was a discussion even before they left that boat.

Yes... the story seems plausible. Especially since she had been taking naps throughout the day. Her schedule was a lot.

The pilot had cocaine and alcohol in his blood. He also had an addiction to crack and had trouble with the law. I think they must have had pressure to leave but I just don't believe the pilot would be the person who had to be convinced.

I vaguely remember some story about them wanting to leave early because there was no hot water or running water. Something about the resort..

Also there is that picture with the boy that was wrongly labeled as the last pic because it was taken when she got there..and he said she was extremely tired because she only slept four hours and was complaining about feeling exhausted. This was on August 23, so she probably was overworked.

What a wild couple of days..so Aaliyah is Jane Doe 1 in the R Kelly case and she might become his downfall after all.
There was an announcement of new Tommy Hilfiger line inspired by Aaliyah. And Barry is launching Blackground 2.0, they shut down a block to shoot a music video:  https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/aaliyahs-uncle-is-reviving-blackground-records-news.136851.html

I don't think it's disturbing, there will always be mystery and conversation surrounding her death because it wasn't a open shut case. Just like any other mysterious death and especially for someone so young, beautiful and talented like her.

I think in a time before social media and news via internet all we got were some newspaper articles and press statements. And they were quick to say she wanted to go on that plane and was even arguing with them. So yes I would love to let it rest as well but there were always questions unanswered and it was just very difficult I guess for us fans to accept this happened. It was bizarre.

Idk. I just know that her death doesn't make sense to me in terms of what happened and how. I certainly NEVER believed that she sat up and argued with the pilot and got on the plane anyway. Bullshit
