I read some comments under the make it hot video on YouTube and someone was saying the follow up single electric blue never got released cause missy signed too many artists and it just never happened

I think it was one of those things where the song overshadows the artist. Anytime I've played this song for someone they recognise the beat but don't know who sang it.

There was a lot of shit going in behind the scenes with label and stuff...missy did her best to keep Nicole on features and stuff.
There was no follow up success to Make It Hot. It's basically a one hit wonder situation.

She's talented but her marketing and imagery was off. She was 17 here but I always thought she was older than that for some reason. :dead:
