I cant see this. Was this her attempt to cross over to urban chars. I never viewed her as a urvan artist. I like nessa music though.
I wonder why brandy hasn't worked with again with the guys from her first album?

EWW I don't even like Love Is On My Side....I wonder what the other songs would have sounded like.
I wouldn't mind Brandy reconnecting with Robin Thicke for a song or three

She worked with Keith Crouch on Apart.
But I wish she had worked with Something for the People again. They laced those album cuts.
Is it still live?

It wasn't corny though, which is why her debut is a classic and all the singles have stood the test of time. It was age appropriate but still sonically mature.

Yup
I don't think corny was her concern tho. Probably wanted to sing songs like Greatest love of all or songs with a deeper message lol ya'll know how poetic Queen is. But im SO glad she didn't go in a direction that would have aged her
Whitney was too damn young for some of the stuff Clive had her doing. Ch

If he coykd write her a sex therapy yes.
I would love to hear the audio of this clubhouse room tho. I ain't been on there in months
I was just thinking about how Bran, Aaliyah, Monica, etc. were teenagers singing music that appealed to multiple generations. I feel like I'm general that was the goal for an artist back then...now all the mainstream girls want to sound childish and young

I think the album being a Funk album also helped.
It translates well for live performances.
