Queens premieres tomorrow night on ABC and Hulu, but these two networks are not created equal.
Unless you live in a Nielsen household, watching Queens on ABC will not count toward its ratings. If you want to help the show be successful, watch it on Hulu where every stream is counted.
Unless Nielsen has installed TV tracking equipment in your house, sends you a TV viewership journal, and cuts you a check every single month, you are NOT part of a Nielsen household. If you do live in a Nielsen household, then please watch the show on ABC, as Nielsen has historically undercounted minority viewership.
A Hulu "view" is counted when 10% of a program's runtime has been watched. For Queens, this will likely be around 4 minutes and 30 seconds. So if you're at your friend's/family's house, open up Hulu and let it play for a few minutes to rack up some additional views.

It is also supposed to be on Disney+ via the Star channel aswell

Guys please don't fall for that only watch on Hulu mess. That's why 50 Cent show got cancelled! I never understood that Nielsen box mess because I don't know a soul who ever had one. If you have Hulu live sure go for it. but if we all only watch it at midnight, Queens will be in danger!!! There's a reason for tv upfronts, they're selling ad space for these shows. It makes no sense for them to keep a show on tv that's getting 0.5 million viewers, but 5 million streams a day! Y'all will be bitching and moaning like you did when HBO dropped Lovecraft county.
At the end of the day, do what you can because the Hulu/Abc president looks into all numbers.
I'll watch it live on the ABC app. Surely the powers that be can see how many people are streaming the show live and my 1 view will count lol

Just cause you don't understand the nielsen box doesn't mean it's not legit.
There are a lot of nielsen homes. It's called a sample. It's broken up into demographic white black Mexican etc.
example.
If I am black and 24 yr old I represent all black males in the 18-24 range of a certain area. They multiple that by the millions and that's why nielsen will say. "Queens debuted with 8 million viewers etc"
Cause it's not possible to get a box in every home

I actually know this. I do not understand why can't they put whatever is in the boxes in dvr boxes to or even your flatscreen so everyone is counted! Because to me it screams I made up these numbers.
