I dunno . Being surrounded by black women all my life , being raised by a beautiful black woman ... it comes super natural for me to love on them, admire them, feel a need to protect them ...
So it's a lil :unsure: for me when I see others who clearly got some type of black females up in their family not able to do the same.
Now to be fair to my gay blk folks... I will say I've experienced moments where women have directly compared me to themselves. I could legit just be minding my business and they'll tell me things that are like :usureuok: so sometimes this "competition" thing can go both ways.
But I can actually understand why they do it and I empathize , shut up and listen . And if I open my mouth it's to uplift them and return genuine love and admiration . Not turn it into some showdown . Plus it's always flattering and never something to get upset about.
