:omf:
And you can tell she's not going out of her way to ensure she's being validated by mainstream. She's just enjoying where she is which is a feat for Brandy. I'm very proud of her.
oh BITCH
I can't wait to tune in later cause her episode with The-Dream was so good
The best part so far is the Michelle Williams bit to me.
Yooooo thanks for posting!! Ima tune in
Yeah this is great! Only 45 minutes in and it's good.
Brandy says she learned how to take care of her voice during Broadway, and says Michelle Williams from DC gave her a lot of help in taking care of her voice. Says referring to her singing nowadays, "It's like butter, no more straining".
Says there's still more for her to discover with her voice. :-).
So many flowers given throughout.

Like .... That's what you got out of that snippet without even listening to the episode itself? I'm so glad my mind doesn't work like that.
this was cool. It takes like 35 mins for the actual interview w/Bran to start. Before that its the host doing a long intro on Bran and 90s music/culture

The intro was fantastic. It was like getting a mini history lesson on 90 music culture.

It was just as interesting as her interview honestly. And that's no shade. Both parts were good!
Listening now
I love how she literally just told this woman "ima come on your podcast" like two months ago and she followed through. You don't always get that from famous people

Y'ALL COULDA WARNED A BITCH B4 I HAD TO SIT THRU A DAMN HISTORY LESSON
I mean it was cute, but I just didn't have the time. I love how she loves music and Brandy down tho.
Side eye: The interviewer loves Sittin on Top of the World more than Sittin up In My Room...girl bye
Side note: I learned nothing new besides the Michelle Williams part...I'm glad they got to connect and she gave mama some tips.
This is a must listen for any Brandy fan.
