Black gays try to make it work with their families however they can. Not all but a lot.
I think he black community is less accepting anything that makes us "less acceptable" by society, because we already deal with racism so to have the added barrier of homophobia, some people see it as an embarrassment. Sadly

I guess this is an explanation but how is it an embarrassment when some black women are obsessed with their bodies. Do they not realize that the media/public is aware of their obsession with their shape and ass.
