Earlier last year he released the book about Whitney Houston and Brandy wrote the forward for the book. I know we talked about it on here back when it was released. Not sure if anyone got the book and gave it a read.

Yea Gerrick is an incredible writer, was with the LA times for years and now Apple and a gang of other things. He's the truth and this book is gonna be incredible even for those that are a little over the Whitney talk over the years.
The rest of this books title "In Defense of Whitney Houston" is intriguing to me cuz it's a different angle than the salacious stories we've been getting fed since her passing and before it.
I just saw a post about the book on Page Six
Brandy: I 'placed a lot of blame' on others for Whitney Houston's death

I also saw a little doc about Whitney on ABC (Superstar: Whitney Houston). I don't know why I have never seen it before, I guess it was a rerun (aired in 2021). You guys probably already discussed it back then. Brandy was talking about how Whitney lost her voice and that she had to deal with a lot of pressure.
This event is tonight
I'm "going"
Will Brandy be there for certain?

When it was Q&A time with the people watching someone said Brandy is this generation's Whitney Houston and Bran was so touched by that.
They talked about how her performance of the national anthem was an iconic moment and a performance Brandy will be remembered for.
The guy that wrote the book also talked about how he was one of the last people to see Whitney alive. He interviewed them all at the Grammys that day. Brandy, Monica Clive and Whitney
