Title: being mindful of how you’d like a story written
Post by: United Nations on March 24, 2022, 11:02:55 PM
especially when it comes to crucial events/moments that could possibly define important friendships in ur life

Or even smaller things where something like your support could mean the world to someone .

Even when I'm not feeling up to something I always stop to remember that this time will eventually pass... and wonder.... In the future how would I like this chapter to go when it's time to revisit?

Do I want it to say that I was there when needed or am I willing to let it say that I wasn't?

I guess this is basically what they call making sure you're "on the right side of history". If a person is a valued piece of my life in any capacity I want them to revisit that chapter and say "yup. My boy was there for me, he supported me."

Even if it's simply making sure I showed up to one of their dinners/gatherings after they've supported mine etc . Things that seem relatively minuscule but could actually put a strain on a relationship if someone ends up feeling some type of way.
