it appears she didn't want a funeral and her hubby decided to throw one anyway
this is pure fucking mess. they're accusing her husband of trying to exploit her death for cash :uhh:
they legit hate that man. sfnsfnsfnsfnsfnfsnsfnn
and if traci really didn't want this i see why

Well no shade but I think that man would know what Traci would have wanted more than her sisters
He can honor his wife however he wants. Always drama with them

theyre claiming that traci literally said out of her own mouth that she did not want a funeral during a zoom meeting
she didnt want a bunch of people looking over her dead body
and her husband did it anyway

well that's what their claiming but how do they know that she didn't have a change of heart?
I'm more inclined to go with her husband and children vs. her sisters
They cremated her body I think. I saw an urn in a video clip of her husband and son at her service. Maybe they feel like that doesn't count as a funeral?

Traci was a mess vvvvvb I could see her being all over the place and indecisive
If he went against her wishes then I can see why. He probably wanted HIS people to say their goodbyes. If the Braxton's don't like him then they wouldn't have invited all of HIS people to come to their memorial service. There probably would've been a lot of pushback about the guest list like "This is for CLOSE family and friends" "This is supposed to be intimate" "You can't invite all your homies" I mean I doubt he did it out of spite or greed.

I believe them. Cancer does a number on the body in the final stages and embalming fluid makes them look bloated. I dont think she wanted ppl to see her like dat
I believe the sisters.
But that was his wife. So. He has more of a say so in the world we live in.

TBH funerals aren't for the deceased anyway. They're dead :dead:
The point of a funeral is for people to come together and honor the person, show love to the family they left behind. I wouldnt even care if she did say it. He gets to honor her if he wants. That's her HUSBAND
And traci was a fckn retard. Ain't nobody listening to her
i think the deceased's stated preference should always override what everyone else wants - even husband and close family
if i tell my family/husband i dont want a sad occasion and prefer it to be upbeat, happy and joyous....
and my husband says fuck that once i stop breathing and goes ahead and makes it a dianne warren ass tear fest
that's not right. yes ur "next of kin" but im the one in the coffin.
but somebody's def lying here...dunno if its the husband or the braxtons...
or maybe both sides are telling the truth. i could see traci hopping back and forth between teas

the takeaway here would be the fact that he didnt respect his wife enough to honor her wishes. PERIOD.

I would definitely want to honor my loved one and their final wish, i really don't think that's asking too much. It's all speculation though cuz they've been beefing with Traci's husband forever and he cheated on her for most of their marriage according to them ... not sure who to believe tbh.
I hope she changed her mind about wanting one, because if she truly didn't then that's fucked up. Spouse or not, if I say no, then it's a no. But no one will every truly know if she didn't have it in writing.

who else saw this coming? they never got along with her husband. Tamar made that very clear on the show :plzstop: they all disliked him for whatever reason.

Yea and tbh that man cant do anything right in their eyes anyway. Fuck them tbh. There's a reason traci put herself and her family on an Island. I love Toni but even she seems full of shit to me. I watched that tamron interview and something about the way she talks come across as so disingenuous to me
careful luv
dont get Celine tossed under the titanic this morn
gors all handle grief differently. some gorl can give all the waterworks and be happy as hell somebody dead. other gors may give unphased when they are dying inside.
them gorls loved traci and although some of their methods (basically tamar) may bave been insufferable, their love for each other has always been CLEAR
I hate this for them and Traci.
You would think if it was going to be their last time seeing their sister, they would want to go.

like, this has nothing to do with the other sisters. and them not wanting to be a part of something that traci herself didn't want is completely understandable.

I really hoped that they could have resolved issues as a family and put some old pain behind them..but apparently the drama continues even after her death. What a shame!
I have been in a similar situation.. my grandmother didn't want people to see her after she passed away, but a family member insisted he wanted to give people an opportunity to say goodbye and see her. Everyone grieves differently, but I personally think it's disrespectful to not honor the wishes of the person who passed away. It's one of those memories/conflicts that really had a negative effect on our family.
