Borderline finally hits 7 Million views on youtube. Congratulations, i been waiting on this. Come on lucky number 7!
Yesssss
This song is brilliant! I remember the first listen the tears came naturally and wouldn't stop falling and I've seen YouTube reactors feel the same. So much emotion and power in it. Literally Brandy at her best and it's so amazing to see at this point in her career. I can't even imagine what her next album will give she's so special!

Should've been the 1st single like how she originally wanted

Nah, I think Baby Mama was the right choice for first single.
I just wish Radio had embraced Borderline more as the second single
Easily one of her best ever

That part! And Baby Mama never should've seen the light of day imo. Not a terrible song but not a very good one and not very Brandy.

!!!!
LOL facts! The way the songs should've been reworked... the beat is fire but needed maybe Victoria Monet's pen to make it a bigger bop
Borderline should've been a #1 hit it was sooOoo good but at least it was a Billboard top 10 for her and so was Baby Mama. All of the singles lifted did what needed to be done. Love again #1 self should've had a video.

Yea it's sad it didn't get one
I Am More
Say Something
Rather Be
Could've been good single choices imo. I Am More could've been a lead fr.
Or lead with Bordergod, a much better indication of what the album would give over BM. But I don't want to beat a dead horse.
Also... Justice for Borderline, and B7.
I'm still surprised that her and others were snubbed, and that they chose to award Luke James album (which I enjoy but wasn't the winner imo.)
Don't care much for the video but it really is an amazing song. And Baby Mam should've never been recorded.
I agree it should've been the lead single followed by Rather Be.
The song still hasn't clicked with me and I wouldn't have picked it as a single, but it's the most streamed song on the album (besides Love Again), so maybe it was the right decision.
never ever cheat
never lie to me

I Am More is my fave song on the album. I really adore it, so relatable. I think she should've named the album this too.
I wanna know why Brandy didn't go forward with more singles. Candiace from Potomac is on eone and is on her 3rd single and i know damn well her singles and album aint nowhere touching Brandy b7 success.

I love Baby Mama too. I think it was the best choice for first single too, at least sonically. Lyrics aren't my fave.
But I think it was a questionable choice to change up the melody in the second verse. Although it makes the song more interesting on repeat listens, it makes it less accessible on first listen.
Loved the visual as well. Not sure I've heard the leaked version, can someone please send it to me?
Such an amazing, progressive song 30 years in. Whew
:omf:
And Brandy is ACTING in this mf video
Would love it if she re-shot the video

Is the leaked version anywhere to listen to it?
I liked Baby Mama. Not her best single but I think it was one of the safest choices.
