This an classic album. Happy anniversary. Love every song. So many single choices. This is how you make an album. Each song shed a bit of history abd personality abd was so relatable.

I know some of y'all are younger than I am, but how many remember they fiasco when this album came out? :disgusted:
Because of Oop's success, Tweet was unfairly pitted against Ashanti. They came out around the same time, and Tweet lost the sales battle. After that, her career nose-dived fast. :stressed:
The album was actually more comparable to Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, or someone along those lines.

I was definitely expecting more bops but I'm so glad Missy let her and Nissan/Craig etc work their magic because this album really put me on to that Neo-Soul sound.
