My God. This is quintessential 90's era New York luxury, grit, labels, MONEY, street, in a warm glow aesthetic. The Beat, Stevie J, is actually quite HAUNTING in its nostalgia. These LYRICS. The commanding, throaty, VOICE. The femininity. The DIVA. Sickening. I can remember how she made me FEEL. I hadn't heard any female rapper like this, on a SINGLE. Lick me where its HOT??!! on the radiooo. Literally groundbreaking. This whole album made me want to be from NY so bad!!!! I just learned they were in the World Trade Center
