im actually super pleased to see Al finally get in trouble with his "research".
i remember when he came with his "research" about analytics related to kevin samuels viewers after he croaked...tryna flip the script on black women.
it made very little sense to me...the way he worded it, so non-specific. i could tell he doesn't know how to fact check. or at the very least, didn't know how to properly and clearly communicate his findings.

You can clear up misinformation but when you've adlibbed a bunch of "that's what her lil daughter gets for having her as a mom lmao " and "she's pure trash" in addition to spreading the misinformation ....
Their apologies clearly aren't enough for her and I see why .
People make mistakes and get their facts wrong but to even slightly imply her daughter had this coming to her cuz of her mother ...... they did a bit too much with the wrong info.
And it's one thing to call someone anti-black who is just a regular degular person who may or may not feel deeply about black issues
But to make that accusation against someone who spends their life fighting for black causes and people ...
That had to really hurt her . Like seriously . To even have that put out there . There's no guarantee that everyone who received/saw the misinformation saw the retraction.
It's a little different than someone getting hit with a legal technicality because the person they called a prostitute/escort , who actually put information out saying they brought men home from strip clubs with intention to have sex and drugged them, didn't actually use the word "prostitution" or "escorting" to describe their activity .
Al just needs to never do "research" again. Hire someone . Hell I think an intern could have done a better job
Yeah, retractions do little to nothing once the mess is already out there.
I commend them for trying to fix things but the damage is already done.
Hopefully they learn from this.
