this recent video (below) about her "marriage" , its quick demise and the timeline it highlights is just embarrassing and im actually sad for her.
she made a point of going to a mountaintop to shout "hey u dark butt bitches! im light skinned ! not darkie like u hehe :-P :-P "
but clearly she has never been able to convert this privilege she's proudly claimed into something tangible or beneficial for her as many of her "pretty" light skinned/mixed peers have.
(beauty-based opportunities - like modeling, highly eligible bachelors courting them, etc)
in fact, anyone who has watched L&HH can see that she got the exact opposite of that. Berg treating her like trash - throwing her out of cars after smashing her......while her mixed/light skinned peers were clearly not letting her in the pretty girl club.
all of which i feel eventually led to her complete, colorist meltdown on twitter. yall know how i always say that although many white people may have racism in them somewhere, it's ALWAYS the ones who are bottom of the totem pole socioeconomically who are the LOUDEST with their racism? it's always the ones who live in trailers or work at the piggy wiggly that are the first to let you know "listen you NIGGER. I'm White. lolz :-P :-P " cuz at the end of the day, unfortunately it's the only thing that provides them solace. their life may be pure shit, but hey...i'm white and ur not! lmao

two things show me where someone's self-esteem is at : their behavior, and their choices.

it's clear we are dealing with a deeply insecure, hurt and desperate woman. and for that, my heart hurts for her cuz ultimately, hazel-e is still a black woman and it's not only dark skinned, unambiguous black women who need understanding and empathy. sometimes light skinned tears need to be wiped too.
i hope she eventually finds true love but more importantly , truly realizes her self worth first. because the horse don't go behind the carriage.
