My only guess is that maybe Whit and Bran hadn't been as close in recent years which may have had something to do with Whitney and Ray J messing around. The note probably had a lot of personal stuff in it that the world doesn't need to know about.
I always find it strange that for a period of years Brandy never cited Whitney as an influence or an inspiration when asked the artists she looks up to or whatever. Maybe they had a fallen out at some point. But I do not believe that note was related to her death.
I honestly think it had something to do with Brandy's birthday. Like a gift or something.
