But it's not true. A lot of black fathers are involved in their children's live.  I've very sensitive about this right now because my dad just died Thursday (Oct 26) on my birthday and he was very involved. Most of my friends also have/had their fathers in their lives.  I know plenty of black men that are active dads. We need to stop this narrative that black men don't raise their kids.
