I hope she has a good campaign season. Warner Bros & Oprah are pushing the film hard. She looks amazing.

I hate that the strike has stifled everything for now but I know she'll be everywhere next year.

Teams and studios are sending their clients out now to start their campaigns.
Warner Bros. will have the cast out now until the end of award season.
I hope Fantasia can get something (SAG, Golden, Critics, etc..) especially with the competition being thick this award cycle.

The character of Celie is thee best black female I seen portrayed on film. I will wait until I view the film before I speak on Fannys chances receiving awards. I can see them sweeping all the ensemble categories though.

This cycle is going to be really competitive in a lot of categories.
It'll be interesting to see if the film can pick up some awards.
Oprah probably has the 1986 award season on her mind when 1985 movie got shutout at many award shows.
