Great interview. I've always like how the "Sunday Mornings" interviews are done because it seems more personable with the interviewee compared to the usual morning and daytime interviews format.

Same. I love how sometimes they take tours around their guest home. I'm rooting for Taraji to get her Oscar. She's put in the work man.

The Lede Company is scheduling a really good campaign for her so she might just get it. She's a great actress as well to me so they'll help her too. She's giving personable during her campaign and I always see the film bluffs say that helps with the different award voting bodies.

I believe it does help. She never comes off bitter or anything.

She has come so far especially in her career. She's talked a lot about her personal struggles which really makes me always want to root for her.  I remember her being a 90s guest roles then Baby Boy; she really has a great resume.  Can't wait to see the movie and how everything shakes out during award season since WB is submitting her and Danielle for the same category.

Top communications ppl for sure are telling their clients they must be personable because Bradley Cooper, Greta Lee, and so many more are and in past years drop relatable and non-work related quotes.

She's always been like this though. It's more authentic than the others.

Oh for sure, just like Fantasia which makes them very endearing to the general public. It also probably helps them personally. Fantasia talked about a scene she opted to do in "TCP" instead of using a stunt double which allowed her to heal regarding a personal situation.

I wanna know will Fantasia continue acting or is this a one and done thing? Both are def endearing to me.

Fanny's personality is  so down-home and country I really can't see her being versatile to play other roles. Celie fits her perfectly because it's more or less her lifestory, I'd happily be proven wrong though.

I'm more excited about her getting in the studio and releasing a real R&B classic. Her albums never do her talent justice IMO.
I hope she goes back to Broadway,

Well when you put it like that I totally agree.  I'm ready for another Fantasia album, her sophomore offering was her best imo, it was full of classics and singles.

I love love LOVE Fanny but she has a terrible ear for music. Her last album was the epitome
of mid, and it was all her (indie). I would love for her to really dig into the Rock-Soul vibe... call Raphael, Cee-Lo, Bruno anyone who can actually bring that vision to life.

In general feedback from many on social media after watching early screenings of "TCP" are saying she ate the role. So Fanny's phone will be ringing especially to return to broadway.

I would be down for some more Rock-Soul from Tasia. We still needs that Jazmine and Brandy song too. I honestly haven't listened to Sketchbook that much but I thought she had some ok songs, enough to get a few hits imo. It was far from her best so I hear what you're saying.

I'm sold! Especially cause I hate remakes.

Someone on here spilled tea that Fanny submitted the song to Brandy & Jaz and neither of them liked it. They said Jaz didn't even respond. Remember Brandy said it "has to be the right song" during her B7 press run  :dead:
