The 100 Greatest R&B Songs of the 21st Century (https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/best-rnb-songs-21st-century-1234878625/)
Full list.
:ohwow:
Full Moon @ 10 and All For You @ 23
Some odd choices on here though
They had 1+1 from Beyoncé on there over Irreplaceable, Naughty Girl, Crazy in Love, Me Myself & I, etc

!!!!!
But it was nice to see Lil Mo, Anthony Hamilton, Jaheim get some love.
That's an incredible placement for Full Moon. It really is a great song. Now let me take a look at the rest of this list!
It's good to see Avant, Tank, and Bobby V. Being acknowledged. Love all those songs.
On wow, Sisqo made the list. I used to be obsessed with Incomplete.
Come on Ray J and Amy Winehouse. So far I'm not hating this list. I fuck with all these tracks.
:flamebroiled:
This list is full of classics, and would make it hard for me to list them in a correct order.
Happy to see Just A Friend. But Mario's Let Me Love You is set the standard for male R&B during the era and should be on that list.
If Brandy knew how to choose singles sis would've been all over this list.
Nice list. Not sure of this order, but the ones that made it belong on a list
Good to see Raheem Devaughn and Dwele listed.
All my girls are perched
:butwait!:
Not the songs I would have chosen though. except for maybe Full Moon.
I'm here for this
King Ush at #1 COME ON
then Bey, John Legend and Bran in the top 10

Ok Brandy at #10!!! Well deserved b/c even the song "Full Moon" doesn't get enough praise. That shit is legit R&B gold
Glad she made this list and made it to the top 10 but Full Moon honestly obliterates the 9 songs ahead of it and im not even saying that as a stan. Make it # 1. Shit.

!!! These clout lists. It's only cuz Usher is popular again and Bey opened her show with Dangerously and 1+1. I really can't take Rolling Stone seriously.
:dead:
But WAAAAAAAAAAAAIT at Brandy being #10.
IMAGINE IF R&B MUSIC STILL CAPTURED THE MAGIC THESE SONGS CAPTURED! :flamebroiled:
Idk if I missed it but where's Monica's So Gone?!
And they missed out on Mario's Let Me Love You, Ashanti's Foolish, Aaliyah's Try Again, Michael Jackson's Butterflies
The Beyoncé's songs chosen outside of Love On Top are a fool too, where the fuck is Me, Myself & I
Also - Mariah & Mary should've had those two spots, Usher could've came 3rd and it probably should've been Burn or U Got It Bad
Quote from: Harlem on January 03, 2024, 10:40:42 PMIdk if I missed it but where's Monica's So Gone?!

The list seems rushed, so many hits missing on this list
I feel like they purposely didn't put most ppls biggest hits because it's supposed to just be based on their opinions
Wait I didn't see either of Miguel's 2 classics. Adorn and Sure Thing

I am bit surprise to see these following songs not included...
Blu Cantrell - Hit Em Up
Sunshine Anderson - Heard It All Before
Jill Scott - A Long Walk, The Way, or He Loves Me
City High - What Would You Do
Kandi - Don't Think I'm Not
Nivea - Don't Mess With My Man
Faith Evans - You Gets No Love or I Love You
Amerie - Why Don't We Fall In Love
Ruff Endz - No More
Yeah this list is a fool
They got a few joints on here tho
I love that Brandy is in the top 10

No excuse to not have these 2 on this list
I really don't consider Jill nor Erica R&B at all in my opinion.

Of all the Bey songs to put in the top 10. Was DIL even a single?
I'm fine with nonsingles...but the ones they chose are not on anyone's faves list
Dangerously in Love wasn't technically a single but it def felt like the 6th single from the era. I would argue that it deserves top 10 and yes for Full Moon! Under appreciated.
Speaking of, I feel like Janet's I Want You should've been on here
And Fag Legend and Dykelicia in the top? 🤮
Janet's I Want You :flamebroiled: :gorlonfire:
I consider Dangerously In Love as a single. It was played on the radio, had a video, and was performed at The Grammys. I would choose DIL over Crazy In Love any day.
The Survivor MTV special with Ananda made me instantly fall in love with DIL, pure bliss. I was so happy she decided to put it on her album but still being pissed that it wasn't given full single treatment.
Not fckin 1+1
Some of them 2010s-present songs could've been left out
I honestly disagree with the Bey songs they chose
They clearly were trying to not choose big hits so it looks like they really care but they could've done End of Time or Party over 1+1
and clearly Crazy In Love over DIL
Also - Chris Brown deserved more. Ppl can't act like he wasn't holding it down for R&B since he came out
Hate to say this too but R. Kelz Ignition Remix and some others should've been on here
Agreed. R. Kelly is surely missed from this list. I know they left him off because he's so called cancelled, i don't care put sum RESPECK on his music.
"So-called canceled?" It's the real thing hun.
People still play his music luv.
Awful list

Ummmmmmmmm a fully black panel is needed for a list such as this...
"Untitled" wouldnt be in the Top 50 if not for the video.
She was one of the people on the panel
https://twitter.com/naima/status/1742939252084941191
Yea after the viral challenge I'm surprised Superstar didn't make the list
Listening to the song "Full Moon", there's something very MJ/Quincy inspired by this... it has that same feeling as "Rock With You" I can't explain it
